How it is calculated

Daily units (kWh) = watts × quantity × hours ÷ 1,000. Monthly units = daily units × days. The bill uses the BERC step tariff for a 2 kW connection.

Results are estimates for planning, not bills. Your utility’s bill is final. For generator hookups use a changeover switch installed by an electrician.
