Bangladesh has six electricity distribution utilities. Each one owns the lines, transformers and substations in its area, sends your bill and restores the supply after a power cut. Your bill or prepaid meter card shows which one is yours.

16999 – the Power Division’s unified complaint line – reaches every utility, 24 hours a day. For a fallen line, fire or electric shock call 999.
