What coverage means
A post code in our directory means you can view and report power cuts there. It does not mean every power cut will be detected: detection depends on people in that area reporting. No recent report does not prove the power is on.
Data sources
Post codes and post offices follow the Bangladesh Post Office directory; coordinates are approximate upazila positions (geoBoundaries / bangladesh-geojson, CC BY 4.0 and ODbL). Utility hotlines are from the utilities’ websites and press reports (October 2026). Planned shutdowns are read from the official notice pages of DPDC, DESCO, NESCO, WZPDCL, BPDB, BREB and the Palli Bidyut Samitis, and Power Grid Bangladesh. Tariffs are from BERC (June 2026 billing month).
